CUNA Financial Counseling Certifications equip credit union staff with the skills and knowledge to guide members to financial security
ORONO, Maine (November 27, 2019) – University Credit Union is pleased to announce three Campus Branch Managers have successfully completed the Financial Counseling Certification Program (FiCEP) through the Credit Union National Association, the most influential financial services trade association and the only national association that advocates on behalf of all of America’s credit unions.
“With certified financial counselors on staff, credit unions are better able to help those experiencing financial difficulties, demonstrate the credit union difference,” according to CUNA’s website.
The following UCU employees recently completed the CUNA FiCEP program:
- Lesley Ridge, of Portland, serves as the Campus Branch Manager at UCU’s University of Southern Maine campus location in Gorham.
- Jennifer Deschene, of Presque Isle, serves as the Campus Branch Manager at UCU’s University of Maine at Presque Isle campus location.
- Randy Manzo, of Brewer, Maine, serves as the Campus Branch Manager at UCU’s University of Maine campus location in Orono.
